Priscilla Cummings

Priscilla cummings grew up on a dairy farm in western Massachusetts. She was the middle of three children and loved life on the farm. She had many animals, one of her favorites was her palomino horse named Goldenboy, she also had an appaloosa named Lollipop. She enjoyed mountain climbing with her father, especially in the white mountains of New Hampshire. Her favorite thing to do was read and write her own books. After graduating from the University of New Hampshire with a degree in English literature, she became a newspaper reporter. Over the next ten years Priscilla worked for four different newspapers in four different states.  In 1981 she was honored as UPI's Journalist of the Year for Virginia after researching and writing a series of articles on women in prison.
